students and families are saying ...

Rachel is an incredibly talented teacher! My daughter was afraid to audition. I was lucky to find Rachel through another parent at Children’s Musical Theater. After a few months with Rachel, our daughter auditioned and was cast as Mulan in her middle-school’s presentation of the musical. We are thrilled with the results, and excited to watch our daughter build her vocal skills and grow as a performer.

I began lessons with Rachel after a twenty year break from studying voice. In six months she has brought my vocal range and style to a place I never thought was possible for my voice type. She has a great combination of setting high expectations while being warm and supportive. I especially enjoy her focus of not just on working on technique, but really performing a piece. I would recommend Rachel without hesitation to any level of student who wants to learn healthy vocal technique with a teacher who is excited to share her love of singing.

Rachel taught me how to breathe. She’s experienced, talented, and encouraging. All levels of singing abilities will benefit.

My son takes voice lessons from Rachel. She has been great for reaching both short term goals of preparing well for various auditions and long term goals of building solid vocal technique and confidence. Rachel is practical, patient, supportive, and fun. She expects a lot of her young students and gets great results because of her deep knowledge and motivating teaching style.  I highly recommend Rachel.

Our daughter has taken voice lessons with Rachel for the past four years and we are so very happy with her. We have seen tremendous progress and her work has been invaluable. Rachel is patient, she truly takes the time to get to know your child, their unique abilities and strengths, and builds upon them. We have had excellent results and would highly recommend her to anyone.
